SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE

Church will be held at 6:00 p.m. tonight, March 18th, and dinner will be served before and after the service. Please continue to pray for those affected by the recent flooding in Logan County, as well as the volunteers, churches,  and organizations aiding in the clean-up. 

REVIVAL POSTPONED

The Revival scheduled to being tomorrow at Verdunville Church of God has been postponed. Evangelist Robbie May will be preaching on Wednesday Evening and we will announce at that time the plans for the rest of the week. Sorry for any inconvenience, but the church is working diligently to help the community during the recent flooding crisis.

Southern West Virginia was hit this morning, March 15, 2012, with severe rain and thunderstorms causing torrential flash flooding in Logan County.  Especially hard hit was the community of Verdunville which sustained wide-swept flooding and devastation. FROM THE PASTOR AND DARLENE'S HEARTS

I just wanted to take a moment to send a note of thanks on behalf of Darlene and myself for your very generous monetary gifts, cards and a awesome service this past Sunday! It was an absolute  awesome day and the supper and Worship service so very anointed.

Without a doubt, we feel extremely blessed to be part of a church family which takes time out of a busy schedule to say words of appreciation to us for our ministry here at Verdunville Church of God.  We never take this time for granted, yet it is certainly one of the "highlight moments" of our year, as you can imagine.

I also need to share with you that it's people like you who make our ministry here both effective to others, and rewarding. We all want to hear those amazing words from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ one day as seen in Matthew 25:21a; "Well done, thou good and faithful servant"; (Matt. 25:21a). This will truly be the greatest reward of all as we are rewarded as His servants, regardless of what position or vocation we were involved in here on earth.We consider it a high honor to not only serve here as your Pastor, but also to be part of this great Church as one of you!  We all go through the "highs and lows" together, and it is exciting to be part of the amazing things God is doing in our community through Verdunville Church of God..
