Sermons Online – Most of the recent messages have been put on line for your listening pleasure.  This is very convenient if you have to miss service, or just want to listen again to reinforce the message.  Go to Verdunville.com and click on the Sermons Online link.

Thank You – We have received numerous comments concerning the webpage and they are greatly appreciated.  I am looking for people who have taken pictures of church events (services, Jr. Talent, baptizings, etc.) that would be willing to have them put on the website. Just give them to me at church or email them to me at cataylor@suddenlink.net. Don’t forget to sign the guestbook when you visit the webpage.

Don’t forget our fast this month!

Special Services - During morning worship, Pastor will be speaking on The Last Week of Jesus’ Ministry from now until Easter Sunday morning. Also, on Easter Sunday morning we will be having a Dramatized Sermon entitled, “Do You Know Jesus?”  You won’t want to miss it!

Teen Mime’s ProjectOur Teen HOGS are raising money to buy much needed new outfits.  If you would like to sponsor a child please see Pastor or Beth Hall. The total cost per child is $70 which included his/her embroidered jacket, pants and shirt. This money is needed by March 2nd.

Spaghetti Dinner – The Teens will be having a spaghetti dinner next Sunday after Sunday School to raise money for their new outfits (see above).  The cost of the dinner is $7 and will include, spahetti, salad, roll, dessert and drink.  Donations are gladly accepted, too!

Jr. Talent – Yeah! Our Jrs. did it again! They brought home several awards, but most of all the ministered with the anointing to hundreds of people and praised God with their talents!

The Youth Revival was Fantastic. Special thanks to all those who spoke, mimed, sang or attended! “God is great and greatly to be praised!”

Bible Studying Facts - In studying the Bible, some experts have come up with several fun facts. Do you know what Bible verse is at the very center of the Bible? Here are some fun facts every Christian teen should know about the central chapter of the Bible - Psalms 118.  The middle chapter of the Bible is Psalm 118. The longest Chapter of the Bible is Psalm 119. The shortest chapter of the Bible is Psalm 117.   How many chapters exist before Psalm 118? 594  How many chapters of the Bible exist after Psalm 118? 594  Add the two together and you get 1188.  What is the verse at the very center of the Bible? Psalm 118:8 which states that  "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man." (NIV)  Are you in the center of God's word? The very center of the Bible reminds us to trust in God over trusting in ourselves or other people. (Note: This will not work in all Bibles as there are so many different translations of the Bible.)
