The Journey To Central America - Part 3
Today is Thursday. We just finished a crusade in Santa Vicente, El Salvador, Pastor Garber preached a powerful sermon on the Blood of Jesus from a platform of a tractor trailor. Many people were saved.
The streets were crowded with several thousand people, and again, as last night, souls were born into the Kingdom of God. Tonight the first person to the altar was a little boy about 8 yrs. old. Through an interpreter he told me that he did not want to pray he wanted to eat. After we prayed with him, I gave him a piece of money. He told the interpreter, "Now I can go eat!" and took off running.
We are traveling about 1.5 hours each way to get to and from the services. We travel to and from the services in a Toyota Van, similar to a Volkswagon Beetle Bus. The owner is a great Christian man and singer who bought the van to carry missionaries whereever they need to go. There are 15 of us so it is pretty crowded. Tomorrow we go into the villages and invite people to church. We will have services in the morning, as well. After a quick lunch we will be off to Santa Anna where, if the Lord willing, I will be preaching. The people have received us well. They are very hungry for the Word of God.
In closing, if you think a crayon can't bring smile on a child's face, look at the child in the picture below. Again to each of the VCOG and our ministries: May the Peace, Power and Fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you.
