Worship at Verdunville Church of God is more than just attending a
church service. It is an experience in itself. No service is ever
just like another service! As a Pentecostal church, one would
expect loud music, shouting and running the aisles - and as expected,
that is "what you get." And, it is an awesome experience! On
the other hand, we have many services that are so quiet you could hear a
pin drop. Does than mean that the Holy Ghost is not in that
service? Absolutely not! We believe that the Holy Spirit
manifests himself in many different ways. Souls are saved, people
are baptized in the Holy Ghost, and God is praised in the "Holy Roller"
services, the "Quiet as a Mouse" services, as well as those services
that contain a little of both!

We feel
at Verdunville, that we offer a variety of music to suit all tastes and
ages. For example, in one service you might hear "Amazing Grace"
(the classic song from the old red-back hymnal), "I Came To Lift You Up"
(a fast contemporary song from Anointed Praise Music), as well as
"Through the Fire" (A Crabb Family original - Southern Gospel style).
Our young people and our elderly love to worship to the old hymns as
well as the contemporary songs of today. If you like music, you
will like Verdunville. We have a great Praise and Worship team and
Sanctuary Choir accompanied by piano, guitars, drums and bass guitar -
and they do love to "jam for Jesus!" |
